She is on her way!

Well, Tori is officially on her way to London! She called about 8 pm and left a message. They were on the plane ready to go. I am so bummed about missing her call, hadn't gotten home yet from returning Mom's Jeep, but I guess that it was probably for the best, she sounded tired, and I wouldn't want to start blubbering while on the phone with her. I haven't gotten to blubber yet, she wouldn't have any of that at the airport!

I got this fun picture of her while she was getting ready yesterday. It was so fun to have some "girl" time just the two of us. I love her to death, and I will miss her while she is gone, who can blame me, but wow, what an opportunity for this All Honors, 4.0 GPA, almost got voted Homecoming Queen her Freshman year knockout. I am one very proud momma!

We ended up taking Mom's Jeep to Nashville because we gave Lydia Mae a ride to the hospital to be with Melvin and Norman. We dropped her off on the way to the airport, and then stopped back by after Tori got gone. They still hadn't done surgery on him, but hopefully either tonight or early tomorrow. That is the trouble with being in a Trauma center when you have been deemed "Not a Trauma case". He will need surgery on his nose and his elbow. Things could have been much worse for them.

Emily is having so much fun with the scrapbooking camp. They made an altered paint can today, and she informed me from the side of the pool that on Friday there will be a crop for moms and daughters to attend, and that we are for sure going. Gotta love that kid for her decisiveness! When she knows what she wants, she knows what she wants! Now if I could only get her to clean up the mess in her room.
I think that after this week I am going to try getting our bedroom painted. We picked out the paint a couple of weeks ago, and then so much craziness has happened that it got put on the back burner. Now that kids are scattered and summer is here it may just get done. Or like so many other of our projects, it gets done-later.
