Happy Monday

Well, it is finally Monday. That means in just a few more hours my dear Tori will be flying to another country. I am so thrilled and scared all at the same time. 3 weeks is a long time to be away from home, I know she has been gone before, but an hour compared to around the world is so totally different.

I suppose that the mother in me needs to chill a little, I mean she is not the first of my girls to go off to a foreign country, after all Amber went to Spain and she wasn't really any older than Tori is now, I guess it is just different because Tori and I have such a different relationship.

On a brighter note, Emily went to her first day of Scrapbook Camp. She got to make a purse shaped scrapbook and she brought home the scraps for her dear old mom to use on a page or two. Such a sweet girl! Tomorrow they finish the album and start working on an altered paint can. Makes me wish I was 1o years old again so that I could go :)

I started a new book last night called Bubbles Unbound. So far it is hilarious! I have the other 4 books in the series, and I finally got a chance to start them. It seems to be a fast read though, so shouldn't take too long to finish it.

On a sad note, Melvin and Lydia Mae's son Norman fell around 30 feet today and was lifeflighted to Vanderbilt. I guess they were hanging drywall upstairs and somehow he fell. I plan to stop at the hospital tomorrow while in Nashville to see how he is and give my support to the family. They work so hard and have had such a hard time of it. They are such a wonderful family.
