Me? I was playing Farmtown on Facebook. That highly addictive fun little game. I have managed to level up quite nicely and just got off a huge job that luckily had me as the only worker so I made some serious bank! Am I a Farmtown Junkie? probably. I check my farm at least a couple times a day. I mean if you are going to spend the coin to plant crops ya gotta check on them to make sure that when they get ready you hire someone to harvest them for ya. Plus the flowers need watering and all those neighbors farms need tending too!
I blame it all on Kristi. She got me started when she was here visiting my parents and even though she is safely home in Idaho I am still here farming away. I had had a facebook account for quite awhile but never really played any of the games on there. Oh, sure I tended my Lil Green Patch and then got some fish but nothing as addictive as farmtown. What did I do with my spare time before? Yea, I cleaned house and scrapbooked and read. Now I do all those things while glancing at the dang computer screen waiting for that crop of strawberries to hit the "Ready to Harvest" stage!
In other news. We are still trying to get the haying done. We finally have it all cut down and if I hadn't broke the rake somehow yesterday I would have gotten all the raking done, but now we have to make a town trip for long bolts to fix it and then if the rain holds out long enough then I can get things raked up and Dad can get things all baled and then we will be done except for the hauling of the bales to the barn part. Amber has been helping with that as she can and as they get ready and it really isn't hard just tedious.
I am still putting in applications online as I find job listings that I like. I put in for an easy job the day before yesterday that I hope I get a call on. I have tons of experience and the job itself isn't hard at all and I don't have to buy good clothes for it. I got rid of all my good office type clothes years ago and even if I had them I couldn't wear them anymore. I hope to get something going in July sometime as my patience is wearing very thin.
Well, it is now almost 5am, my eyes are feeling droopy and I think I will try to get some more hours of sleep in before another awful day starts. The only good thing is Emily is coming home tomorrow afternoon and I have missed by Baby Girl.
