Fathers Day

is just around the corner and I have got to make some cards. I struggle with the whole "manly" card issue and usually put it off until the last minute which for mailing means I should have gotten them done yesterday, but oh well.

I don't have anything really for gifts this year. The one I had for my dad we gave to him for his birthday in March and I haven't gotten anywhere to find him anything else. I suppose I could make him a cake or something. Will is getting a movie, Gran Torino, and a card. We are planning on going to visit with Emily too.

Speaking of Em, we have heard from her twice now. She called again last night and is having a great time. One class, sand sculpting, hasn't gone so well because of the afternoon rains we have been getting but the others are fun she says. I knew she would have fun at SCATS and she is talking about going again next year. I should start saving now to pay for it!

Today is another project for the Life Tunes album and I am all ready to get started on it. I look forward to the 3rd week of class for this handout because it is so easy to get completed and I am loving the way the book is coming together. I am still in the thinking stages for some of the projects and others are getting put off until later to give as gifts.

Well, I think my time indoors will be limited the rest of this week as we are still not done haying and the rains seem to have moved out for now. It is hotter than blue blazes with high humidity which I hate, and so I need to get my cards done if I am going to. I think I would rather just crawl back into bed and sleep the day away.
