Back to normal

or at least in the process of it.

Our Christmas Day was good. The girls got us up at 4am! A bit early for me, but not so unusual for them! Poor Tori had been up since about midnight with a headache that was making her sick. Not the way she wanted to start out the day, but she did get feeling better after awhile.

Amber and David showed up at 5am as promised and we proceeded to open gifts. Usually we call my parents to come over, but figured it was a bit early considering..... Santa was a bit more frugal this year. Even though the gifts were on the expensive side they only got one each and then a family gift. Emily had asked for an Ipod Nano and is now in 7th heaven. Tori really didn't say what she wanted but since her last computer fell apart (literally) she got a new HP laptop. The big gift for the family was a Wii and the Fit. Everyone was happy with it and Tori and Will are currently racing away in Mario land somewhere.

I got a Cuttlebug and several Titans related items. Will surprised me with some very hard to find Division Championship items. I shall stay warm and toasty in my new sweatshirts, t-shirts, hat and blanket. I am one happy girl!

Will made out good with some new grilln' items and some much needed clothing items. He also got some books and computer games. He said it was just what he wanted.

After we got done here, we went over to mom and dad's. Mom had to wake dad up, but we had a good time opening over there. I had found some things for both of them that they needed and some things that they really appreciated. They are so hard to shop for, and this year I found just the right things. They were both happy I think. After we spent a few hours over there we all headed to our respective homes. I napped until about choring time and everyone else lazed around.

Yesterday we took down the tree and most of the decorations. The only thing left up are some cute little snowmen that I got new this year and have no box to put them in at the moment. Besides, snowmen are just as wintery as holidayish so they can stay up awhile longer. It really feels good to have things back to normal. I spent some time finishing up a few projects at the scrap table and began cleaning up the old desk. Needs to be dusted something awful.

Well, the clothes are growing up the walls like mold which means it is past time to head downstairs to the laundry. I will leave you with some holiday pictures I uploaded this morning.
