more days and I can relax. I really do like Christmas, but sometimes it can all seem less than ideal. This year is no different. Family tensions still exist plus a few new ones added into the mix, parents that haven't bothered at all (wouldn't even let the kids wrap gifts for them last week when they were out of school and not busy), many "day of" obligations and only so many hours in the day to begin with. Makes me want to scream "BAHHHHHHH"
On a lighter note, we had another baby. This one is a girl and honestly unless you are close enough to catch a glimpse you cannot tell the difference. She is the baby boys new bestest buddy. We also had a cow die today. Sometimes they have trouble calving and they prolapse. If caught early enough about the only thing the vet can do is sew things up and then you have to watch for when they calve to take the string out. Not fun at all, and unfortunatly with this cow there was no way to save her or the baby.
Today we went to Carol and Jim's for the family Christmas. It was nice to see everyone and to meet Everly, what a cutie she is at 4 years old. The only bummer was one child decided to be selfish and stayed home with all 5 of her kids because she has a problem with her step father, who in his defense doesn't even know she has a problem. Carol was really hurt not to see her grandkids.
Right now all is quiet. Tori is at work, Emily stayed the night with Amber and David again, Will is watching his UK Wildcats play ball and I believe I am going to finish the Carol Wingert project I started this morning. Enjoying the calm before the storm.
