Snow is melting :(

Most of the 4-6 inches of snow we got over the weekend is now history, or at the very least slush. I can honestly say that I loved seeing it and wouldn't mind about a foot or two more. Unfortunatly for the area in which I live that would put everyone else into a complete and total panic. They have no idea what to do with or in bad weather at all.

Both the girls really enjoyed it. Emily went over to the grandparents and played outside for 2 solid days. She spent hours at a time outside mom said. She has never seen this much snow at one time before so it was all new. Tori altered her skateboard and made a snowboard out of it (mainly out of boredom and the fact that we were not driving anywhere) and basically covered 10 miles. She ended up 5 miles from home and then had to walk back. (Poor kid!)

I even got to play in the snow a little. Seems one of my charges decided to climb through the fence and take in a little drift jumping. He was having a good time breaking trail through the yard. Momma on the other hand was a bit worried, and I spent about 20 minutes trying to get him to go through one gate or another with no luck. I just told him to stay out of the road. He went back to momma when he got hungry.

Saturday Will and I painted my scraproom. I decided that even though I wasn't too keen on the color to just go with it. Once things get back where they belong you won't be able to see much anyway. I do like it, it is just different than I thought it would be. Today we pulled most everything but the bed out of our room and plan on painting it tomorrow. We have had the paint for it for almost a year so it is about time.

After we get it finished and I get my scraproom put back together we plan to do the computer room. Have flooring to put down and paint to put up. I want to get us both new computer desks of some sort, and basically rearrange the entire room.

Tori ordered her class ring today. I is beautiful and costly, but with the cost of both gold and platinum way the heck up there it is no wonder, but you only get a high school ring once, so we relented and let her get the one she wanted. Garnet, Diamonds and White Gold. It really is pretty, too bad she has to wait until next year to get it.

Today was the beginning of week 2 of my digi scrapbooking class with Jessica Sprague. I was able to get this layout done today. I really am looking forward to spending some more time and playing with a few more layouts this week (hopefully)
