Anniversay, Snow and Cold

Well, today is my parents 39th Wedding Anniversary. They rarely remember it and seldom celebrate. Today is also another snow day for the girls. So far we have about an inch with up to 6 inches expected before the day is over. It is the good snowman kind of snow too!

I signed up to take the Up and Running Digi class with Jessica Sprague awhile back, and it started this past Monday. I have been busy enough all week with the house and stuff that today is the first day I got a chance to sit down and start the first lesson. Man, if I had only known that it was really this easy I wouldn't have waited 2 years to even try. I made 4 layouts in about 2 hours from the start of watching the videos. Easy, peasy.

I have so many digital files saved to my computer and to disks that it is unreal. As soon as I got PSE 4 for Christmas a couple of years ago I started downloading every possible freebie I could find. Well, it really helps if you know HOW to use them once you get them! I have bought several books and even done a few other online classes with no success as I just do not have the patience to sit at the computer and mess around with things if I can't get them to work the first time. I later found out that the computer I was trying to use just didn't have the umph to run the program. Now I am good as gold!
We have been working on the porch and got the laminate floor laid down last weekend. It took us both about 3 days before we could walk upright again, but it looks good. Yesterday we ran to town to get paint as I changed my mind about painting out there. I was all excited about starting today after getting chores done. I don't really like the color. It feels too "cold" to me. It is called Taste of Lime and is a very pale green color. I think it is too pale, but it also may be the fact that it is cloudy and snowy outside that makes the color look wrong. I may decide to go ahead and paint it anyway and then see, but for now I have to get dressed in the warm layers and go out and feed. Maybe I will take some pictures while I am out there.
