We have a Baker's Dozen

The babies have been rather steadily appearing since the first wee child was born on the 19th of December. This little tan girl was our first baby of the new season. She now has 5 other buddies in her little bunch (two added just this morning) with the other scattered thoughout the farm.

Isn't she just the cutest thing? This has got to be my favoritest time of the year on the farm. It makes getting up and dressing in several layers of warm clothing and mucking through mud and water worth it to see these little cuties just waiting to be talked to. Some get names of course. So far the only one I have named is a little boy that is all black except for a white streak down his nose. I call him Flash. If I can catch him standing still long enough I will try to get a picture of him.

Amber is finally back into the Central Time Zone. She flew straight through today from SLC. Still won't see her around here for a few more days, but at least she is somewhat home. It will be good to see her. Hopefully the child will stay around for more than a day or two since she can't move back into the dorm until the 17th of January.

Well, started working on my charms for Scrap Etc. last night while Will and I watched the Patriots pull of a perfect 16-0 season. I still have some work to do on them to finish them up, but at least they got started. I plan to work on them again tonight while we watch the Titans try to get into the playoffs by beating Indy. Don't hold out much hope, but I would like to see them make it.

I think I am rather ready for the girls to go back to school. Tori is ready to show off her new clothes, and Emily is always ready for school. The tough part will be getting back into the going to bed on time routine and getting up early again.
