but not just in the hayfield. Luckily we have gotten some hay done and Dad cut a little more today (maybe 10 acres or so) and as luck would have it, it is supposed to rain again. This is really turning into a long hay season.
I have been busy doing layouts to finish up the Design Your Life class that Cathy Z taught back in the beginning of the year. I had managed to keep up until about the halfway point and then nothing, so I have been trying to get it finished up and actually am on the layouts for week 10 of 12 so not doing half bad.
Lastly I have been farming on FarmTown. My friend Kristi got me hooked while she was out visiting my mom and so I have to have my farmtime. It is way to fun and very addicting. I have finally elevated to the point where I can plant crops that take longer than 1 day to ripen so I can leave it for longer spurts now but it is way too much fun and I have gotten Amber hooked so I call her on the phone to have her harvest my crops so she can make some money.
Got 2 new puppies last week. My dad actually found them dumped beside the road one evening and couldn't resist their cute puppy faces. When he picked them up he was shocked to feel how starved they were. They don't look it because they are long haired, but the poor buggers are skinny. I brought them home and we named them Possum and Badger. Possum is white with a pink nose and his brother Badger is a bit yellower (apricot would be my choice to be accurate) and is a whole lot more rambuctious. They are too cute and as soon as I upload the pics I will post them.
Well, I guess that is it for now. Everyone is enjoying the summer so far and it seems to be going by rather quickly.
