Seems alot of things are coming to an end around here. School lets out the end of the month and so there is that "end of year do nothing all day" fun and just basically wasting time and putting your time in. Both girls are rather excited about school letting out. It will last about a week, maybe two and then the "I'm Bored" starts.
Will's job catering may be coming to an end sooner than expected. The economy has hit the catering business hard and people are just cutting back, so he is in the process of looking for another job. At this point he isn't being too particular as to the type of work. Can't be too choosy for sure.
The rains have ended, at least for now. Things are starting to dry out and with luck we will be getting into the hay fields next month. Hopefully this will be it for awhile. I rather like the sunshine.
Prom was great for the kids. They really had a good time and I know that this will be one that Tori doesn't forget for a very long time. Her date, Andrew is such a doll and I know that they really care for eachother deeply but try to play it off as not because he is going into the Navy. He is hoping to get his date to head to boot camp moved up from August to June. I know that Tori will be heartbroken when he leaves, but they are such good friends that I think in the end all will be well.
This is another week of running. Today I head to town to pick up Andrew and take him to get his drivers license. His dad can't get off of work, and so I volunteered. Later I have to take Mom to Nashville for a drs. appt. Tomorrow Emily has an orthodontist appt and will get her last gardisil shot and then its back to Nashville on Wednesday to take back the costume that Tori wore for school. I have no idea if there is anything else going on this week. I hope not!
Doesn't she look very Victorian? It was alot of fun to dress her up in the period costume and she got to see just how miserable those things are! Very heavy and hot. Lucky for her there wasn't a corset to put on with it!
