March is here

and it looked like it was going to come in like a lion but the lion moved south and we only have a coldish wind and sunny skies today. Some areas in southern tennessee got a foot of snow yesterday. I was rather looking forward to a little of the white stuff but oh well.

After waiting all day to get on this dang computer I found in my email some Border Bucks that I had earned and I quickly used them to order me a couple of books. I have one of the 3 but it isn't the first one so I just had to order the 1st and the 3rd. They aren't easy to find it seems but they sound like they will be a fun read. They are also offering a shutterfly code to get 150 free prints and since I am needing to do a bit of printing I am currently uploading as I write this. Love getting me some pictures to play with!

Speaking of fun reads, I have been reading through the Sookie Stackhouse series by Charlaine Harris. I bought myself the box set of the first 7 and have slowly been reading them. I want to get the 8th one but want to wait until it comes out in paperback so I have been reading other stuff of hers to keep me entertained. She has a couple of other series and I read the first in the Harper Connelly series the other day. It is quirky fun just like I have come to expect from Ms. Harris. She is definitely one of my new favorite authors.

One thing that I can say is that we spend alot on books in my family. We all love to read and usually never get through the mall without stopping in Waldenbooks or making a stop in Barnes & Noble while in town. I am also addicted to PaperbackSwap.com. I have sent out a ton of books that we have read and gotten so many in return. I have tried to pick books that I have heard about from others and figure that since they cost me nothing I can read them. I have another series of 3 that I picked and got last week. They are from an author I had not heard about but after reading the reviews they sounded pretty good, and who doesn't like a good mystery/suspense every now and then. Both the girls are reading constantly and usually read a couple books a week if not more. I usually only read at night before bed, but I have a book with me most anytime just in case. Will does the same thing. You just never know when you will have a few minutes to read, and you cannot be bored while reading!

Well, off to change out the laundry and order me up some more pictures and maybe even read me a chapter or two of "All Together Dead".
