Being Crafty

at least I am trying to be. I have finally decided to start on the Family Grattitude project that Ali Edwards designed for Big Picture awhile ago. I had ordered the kit and just never got around to doing anything with it. I started it a couple of days ago and finally got my printers to print out on the canvas. They were being a bit on the onery side. I just have to get the pictures rounded up that I want to use and it will be good to go.

Another project that I have been working on the past couple of days is the Blue & Black Damask Album from Donna D. She is discontinuing it and so I thought I would give it a try. I printed out the pictures a bit ago and I just have to round up a needle to sew the buttons on and it will be done. I really like the way it turned out and think since I have another album just like what was in the kit I will try to make one for Amber & David in some other colors. I took some really good pictures of them over the holidays and it would be a great little gift for them.

I never finished the Graduation album for Amber. I got stalled on it and just never finished. She graduated almost 2 years ago and so I brought is all upstairs again to get it done. Since her birthday is in July I am going to get it done for that. I have to, Tori will be graduating next year and I would like to think that I can get another one done for her to give her for graduation. Surely I can.

A few new things have made themselves at home here.
A new Kitchenaid refridgerator and a new Sony tv. Will has been wanting the 52" LCD flat screen for a couple of years now and with the tax refund and a savings of over $700 from Amazon plus free shipping we now have a new tv. At the moment it is sitting on the floor on our bedroom on his side of the bed because he is out of town AND we still have the big 60" Sony that we have had a few years that we got for free to contend with. Have no idea where we are going to put either the old tv or the old fridge but I really want them out of my house! Anybody want to buy them? We will be selling them cheap!!!
We all have the winter time humdrums. Will and Tori both have sinus infections that have made them miserable. The weather cannot decide what the crap it wants to do. Today it is in the 60's with wind and clouds. Supposed to get rain all day tomorrow and then the temps fall on Saturday and we get rain first then snow. I need sunshine and green grass and cute little flowers to perk me up! Course right now I could probably do with dinner as it is getting that time and Emily and I are on our own tonight. Sounds like quick and easy is what in on the menu!
