I mean it is in the 60's all this week and absolutely wonderful as far as the weather but geez it is a bit early in the month/year for this and we just end up getting spoiled to it and then freeze our butts off when it decides to continue with winter as I am sure it is bound to do.
But since I have no choice but to put up with it I will say I plan to enjoy it. Today after getting the chores done and seeing all the babies playing in the sunshine (around 80+ now) Will and I took to cleaning up some of the yard. All the fallen limbs from the storm are still laying around and I borrowed dad's little Black & Decker Alligater and we cut some of them up and hauled off the limbs. The bigger stuff we cut up to burn in the stove. We only got about 1/3rd of the yard done but at least we can park in the driveway again. I hope to work on it a little everyday this week.
Since it was so nice and we spent most of the day outside and the girls are both gone that meant the none of the laundry got done. Didn't even get it started. It made it downstairs but not sorted, and I am sure that there will be some "I don't have any clean ......" come tomorrow, but oh well, I am not the maid.
Emily had her first Super Saturday's at WKU yesterday and I stayed in the class to help and we had a good time. It is put on by the Center for Gifted Studies and had been going of for over 25 years. Tori did it for about 5 years or so and Emily has been doing it since the 3rd grade. This summer she is able to do SCATS which is a 2 week summer program that is alot of fun for them. Tori always stayed in the dorm and I am hoping to give Emily the same experience. They really learn alot.
Well, off to scrounge up dinner.
