Frozen

Okay, so early, early Tuesday morning (around 4am) I got awakened by the power going off and on several times. I looked at the clock to see what time it was and asked for it to hold off for 30 more minutes so that I could see what the weather was like and if the girls had school. No such luck. Out it went.....

And it is still out. After 2 nights trying to sleep in a spooky quiet house with nothing to listen to but the rain falling and the icy trees breaking I got fed up and we decided to head to Will's moms house so that at least we could all take a warm shower, eat real food and sleep with whatever noises her house has. Luckily for us we have a wood burning stove in the basement that we use in the winter to cut the heating costs down so we weren't freezing to death, but we definitly missed out creature comforts.

The girls are going to be out of school tomorrow again and possibly on friday to. There are downed power lines, lots of broken tree limbs scattering roads and lawns. My poor trees really took a beating. I happened to get some really cool pictures though and once power is restored at home I will up load them and show you.

I just wanted to check in. Right now it is about 9pm and I am exhausted from my outdoor work today and the stress of it all. I am hitting the hay and will catch you all on the lighter side of things when I can.
