After much thought and deliberation (and a nap) I decided that Renew would be my word for the new year. I like all the definitions of it and it fits with what I want to see in my life this year. If only the "to be restored to a former state; become new or as if new again" meant something when you turn 40, but then again, you only turn 40 once and it could be like turning over a new leaf!
I feel the need to renew so much in my life at the moment. There are so many ways to make the changes that I feel need to be made and this little word will help me to remember.
Heres to ringing in the 2009 New Year with much pomp and circumstance. I, for one, will be hitting the hay at my regular bedtime and will only wake up to it tomorrow!
