It's beginning to look alot like......

Ice? Yup we got hit with an Ice storm Monday afternoon and although the accumulation wasn't alot, less than an inch, it sure made for some interesting walking. Forget driving, only those with no common sense (18 year old boys in love come to mind) were out driving around on the sheets of ice everywhere.

Our first baby was born on the 14th. He is a bouncy baby boy and so cute. I finally got a chance to get a picture and will post as soon as I find the camera again. There are a couple of other cows really close to having their babies so I have been checking on them regularly. Usually they don't have any problems but you never know.

Dad's back surgery went well and he was able to come home on Saturday. He is finding it easier to get up and down each time and is looking forward to getting out for a ride somewhere (anywhere). Cabin fever is setting in for both mom and dad.

I put Tori to work wrapping presents yesterday and she got most of them done. I still have her stuff to put into boxes so that it can get wrapped up and then hopefully I will be done enough to relax a bit. I have a couple of gifts yet to make but they are now in the beginning stages. If they don't get finished then no biggie, I can save them for another time.

Well, even though it is early, and the kids do not have school (again) I have a ton of chores to get started on, so I better get to it.
