Stressing?

I think not! My house is far from as clean as I would like it to be, but then it is always like that. Not dirty mind you, but there may be a few dust bunnies lying around, windows that need a bit of cleaning, things that are currently in limbo looking for a new home, etc. I think that worrying about having everything perfect for company on Thursday is a waste of time and I have way more better things to do than clean.

For example: I am, as we speak, printing out my parents Christmas cards. I used the picture I took of Chloe at Halloween all dressed up and put to use a holiday card kit from HP that I have had sitting around for several years and they are now printing after getting the mom okay.

I opened my email this morning and found out that I need to send of my Secret Santa package this week. Now mind you I have had everything bought that was on her wishlist for awhile now and have several projects in various stages of completion, I just lost track of the time and didn't realize that it needed to go out this week, so my plan for today is to get those projects finished and get it ready to wrap up and mail this weekend.

I so enjoyed the Stories at Hand class that I took with Jessica Sprague that I have been printing out the pages for the project in triplicate to give as gifts to my mom, mom-in-law, and Will's granny. He thought that they would all enjoy reading over the sparks and getting things down that they have been wanting to pass on. I ordered AC binders yesterday as I want theirs to be a little more sturdy than I made mine and have most of the pages printed out and will just have to cut everything apart and put together.

I have been impatiently waiting for the project materials to arrive from Cocoa Daisy for the Ali E class on BPS. I have the class bought, downloaded and printed and am more than anxious to put it all together. Would have loved to have it out on the coffee table on Thanksgiving but looks like it won't be here by then. Hasn't even shipped yet that I can tell. :(

Stacy J has her class up that coinsides with her Cocoa Daisy kit. I have been waiting for it to be posted and the best part is that it is free. I hope to have a chance to look things over after Thursday.

Do you watch 60 Minutes on Sundays? We try to catch it after whatever ball games are over and this past week it just happened to be ontime so we missed some of it, but we always try to watch Andy Rooney. I don't always agree with him, and I really dislike his eyebrows as they creep me out alot, but his commentary was right on. He talked about how Thanksgiving gets overlooked anymore because it isn't a commercial holiday. I have dreaded going to stores after Halloween because the Christmas stuff is up the very next day and I really like Thanksgiving. I fight tooth and nail to keep Christmas from invading my house until after December gets here. Of course the girls are excited about putting up all the decorations, me, not so much. I lose out every year, but at least they won't be going up on Friday!

I signed up for the Life Well Crafted year long class with Kolette and Jason Hall right after CE in September and since then I have seen it mentioned on several blogs like Tim Holtz and others and I think from the project tidbits that have been shown so far, knowing just how great Kolettes classes are, and the feeling I get reading Jason's blog and watching his dvd I know that this is going to be a class that can and will change lives. You cannot listen to this couple and not come away inspired in some way. There is an audio only version for those that aren't into the crafty bit. If you haven't thought about taking this class, but are at a crossroads in your life and are looking for ways to change then take it. I have gotten the supplies for January all together and my album that I ordered from WRMK came the other day. I picked the red one as I love red and it will make me happy all year long. I have printed out the papers for it and plan to get it all together soon. So excited.

Well, I have gabbered on long enough. I have laundry to finish, projects to get done, cards to finish printing and then finish printing my SIH stuff. All this and I cannot forget Emily this afternoon!

Have a Happy Thanksgiving and eat lots!
