Appliance Upset

I think my house may be haunted. Or at the least it really hates my appliances. In the past year we have had problems with our oven (about Thanksgiving time last year), Our freezer went out and we lost an entire beef+ other frozen stuff, our dishwasher started leaking out of the blue (luckily we were able to just clean out around the door and not have to call out the repairman) and Sunday our fridge decided to start acting wacky. Ended up moving everything out of it at 10pm and unplugging it.

This morning I have been washing the dang thing out while I wait for the repairman to come see what the heck is wrong with it. It proved to be a bit challenging cooking dinner last night with various things scattered between 2 other fridges and the freezer downstairs. Hopefully it isn't anything major as it is only 2 years old.

In other home news Kevin has officially moved out! He is renting a little house that his mom owns and the kids finished moving stuff last night. Of course he still has no vehicle and so has no way of getting to the bus stop that we use, so they plan to remedy that by buying a scooter. Hate to think how cold it is going to be this winter, and unless he talks to the bus driver that picks up where he lives he can't ride that bus, but I am sure eventually he will figure something out.

Yesterday I helped dad with some ryegrass seed. He was planting, I was loading. Don't you know that come bedtime last night I was feeling the effects of lifting 25 50lb bags of seed. Now if only the fat around the middle would disappear as fast as the muscles in my arms appear I would be one happy camper!

Well, off to finish washing the fridge out (all those dredded drawers) and then maybe I will get a chance to upload the pictures I took Saturday.
