slip, slide and slug

That is the only way to get around the past couple days. Freezing rain, rain, mud and muck. It has been a mess. I really am looking forward to some dryer weather. I get so down when the weather just hangs around and is nasty.

The schools were closed yesterday due to the freezing rain and very slick roads. Tori was mad about it and Emily was glad. They spent the day laying around in their pj's and watching some tv. Not an overly productive day by any means.

My scrap space is no more. Right now it is nothing more a few pieces of furniture and the cupboards that I had installed. We are going to be ripping up the carpet and putting a laminate floor down (YEA!) I am really excited about the new floor. Since we use the door as our main in and out door, having to have rugs down and constantly vacuuming is the pits.

Tomorrow is Em's last Super Saturday class. She has a good time making a bunch of things and the instructor said last week that she actually knew more than any of the other kids in the class. Guess all that time at Grandma's watching Carol Duvall has paid off.
