As promised

Here are some pics from CKU last week in Nashville. I had the bestest time! I met some great ladies from all over the world, had fun just hanging out with new folks, and best of all, I got to meet and talk to so many great, down to earth celebs. (Thanks Candice, Becky, Tim, C.D., Emily, Jessica, and Ali for taking the time!) I have a tote that gets oogled at because people want to see who signed it. :)

I was able to stay at the Opryland Hotel and it was fantastic. I hadn't been there in about 18 or 19 years and it has grown alot and is so beautiful inside. I took a stroll early on Saturday morning through the Delta and took some amazing pictures. I would really like to take the girls down there sometime and just spend some time walking around the Hotel. It really is a great place. I will be staying there again next April with my new friend Steph for the Scrap, Etc. workshop that is coming to Nashville. I am thrilled.
On the Dad front. Things are going well. I took him down to Nashville yesterday for a checkup with the heart surgeon, and he was cleared for more exercises. He can lift up to 30 lbs now and will start his Cardiac Rehab in Russellville this Monday. It should do alot to build up his stamina. Overall he is doing quite well, he just gets tired easy which is to be expected.
We made our reservations for Fall Break. Going to check out the timeshare at Murrills Inlet, SC. We will be just a bit south of Myrtle Beach and north of Charleston. The girls are thrilled. Gonna hit the beach and just totally relax for 7 days. Hopefully we will have things done here on the farm so that I can go. Gotta get the calves shipped off soon.
Well, tomorrow is the Craddock Reunion in BG. Gonna go hang with some strangers for a little while. Don't really know many in Jim's family, but his brother Hugh is in from CA and is quite the character. It will be good to visit with him.
The house is a disaster. Tori has messes in about every room. Making cards, fixing food for tomorrow, shoes all over, major teenage drama if asked to clean up in any way. Emily is at the folks' house for the weekend. She goes over there to help out her Papa, and to keep from cleaning up her room. If she isn't here it doesn't get any messier, but it doesn't get any cleaner either. Oh to have a magic fairy that would clean up for me! That would be the ultimate in wonderful!
