National Scrapbooking Day. I had plans to try and do a few of the many challenges that are all over the web, but life is busy and I have no time. I hope to at least sit at my scrap table and do a little something creative.
Today is prom. Tori and I left the house at 10 this morning for the ride up to Russellville for her 11 o'clock hair appt. We left early so that she could drive and not feel rushed. It is only a 20 min ride, but we got there about 10:45. She did really well and I think is rather proud of herself.
After the hair appt she found out that the dinner plans for the evening had changed and so she had to get dressed, take her stuff to her friends house that she is stayiing the night at, and then find where her ride lives. We managed to do okay and I even got a picture of her and her date Henry. I haven't uploaded yet, so be patient.
After moving 23 head of cows and calves in the rain yesterday it cleared enough to run them through and get the shots and ear tags done, so I got home just in time to change clothes and run. Now I am all smelly and ready for yet another shower, but we are that much closer to getting all the cows and calves done for this year.
Emily is over to the grandparents for the weekend. Will had enjoyed to complete quiet all day today and we will get to have a quiet evening to ourselves. Time to catch up on the DVR.
Yesterday we ran to BG to pick out some new furniture. We decided to use our rebate check to get something new. His mom said Ashley furniture has good stuff, so we decided to check them out. We found a leather loveseat and 2 chair & a 1/2's plus the tables that we liked and will be here in a few weeks. Now we are thinking of painting the living room a lighter color since the pieces are a dark leather. What we have now is a sage green and goes well with the wall color, but the new stuff is a bit dark and will clash with the walls. Now I have to decide on what I want. I hate trying to come up with wall color.
Well, time for some eats and the couch to kick my feet up.
