Wet

So I have about 50 blogs in various categories stored in my favorites, and it seems that I am always adding more as I wander the internet highway. How in the heck can I add more hours to the day so that I can read them all? I thought by breaking them down by category would help, but I think it takes me longer to go through them. I guess I can just spend more time on the computer.

Today is all about the rain. School let out an hour early yesterday because they were calling for some freezing rain and sleet to hit about the time the buses would be out. It missed us and went further north, but the rain started and hasn't let up. All night it rained and all the ponds are overflowing their banks. It is expected to stay this way all night and as the temps dip the freezing starts. I have a feeling that they will call school off tomorrow. Will just have to wait and see. The girls will not be happy if they do.

Emily is loving her Super Saturdays class at WKU. She is taking Polymer Clay Wizards and is learning so much. She brought home some really pretty things from last week and said that I could make magnets out of them. She loves anything crafty and pulls out the clay at grandmas quite regular.

Last Friday Will and I spent the night in BG. We ate at Shoguns (don't tell the girls!) and then wandered around Barnes and Noble and the Mall. It was great to get out just us and we celebrated Valentines early. We seldom get to go anywhere by ourselves and since he had to stay to babysit his mom's cat I was given the okay to go with him. Mom knew I needed a break and the kids were already staying elsewhere. It was fun and I hope we get to do it again soon.

In April I am going to Nashville for the Scrap Etc '08. I heard about it after CKU last August and did the early registration. I had a roomie all lined up and everything. Well, after months of hearing nothing from my roomie until last week I had about decided to try to find someone else to room with. She is bringing her boyfriend and doesn't want to share a room which is fine, but now Opryland is sold out for the first day of the event. Oh well, Will is going with me and since it is his birthday that weekend we will celebrate by being out of town. He has no clue what he will do for the days I am in class, but I am sure he will find something.

Been working through the book for my Get Organized class. To the point now that it is time to empty the room and purge. I have done a little purging, but I really kind of dread taking everything out because then I have to find a temporary home for it, and if it isn't somewhere out of the way or neat Will will have a fit. He is a neat freak and I am more of a clutterbug. We have an understanding, but clutter and messes drive him batty so this may be just what it takes to put him over the edge. I better start preparing him now!!!
