Oh Blarney!

She kissed the Blarney stone yesterday, and according to her voice message, it was Awesome! She is absolutly having the time of her life. I can tell that everytime she calls and can hardly get all the words out for talking a hundred miles an hour that she is enjoying herself. I hate missing her calls, but I know that if she only has the machine to talk to she gets it over quicker.

Today she called to say that they had taken a horse drawn carriage (different name for it) up a mountain. They had been or were in Kilcarney (sp?) and that her home stay will be this weekend. She is looking forward to that too. She picked out some nice things for her home stay parents.

On another note, Will's mom, grannie and uncle came for lunch. Hugh wanted to see where we lived before he goes home to California. He is a nice man, he suffers from Parkinson's, but doesn't let that slow him down.

Speaking of not slowing down, Grannie just got back from a 2 week cruise in Alaska. She had a wonderful time, went Whitewater Rafting, rode in a helicopter, and had a horse drawn carriage ride as well as seeing all the wonderful sights of Alaska. Of all the cruises, that is one I want to take before I leave this earth.

Emily has graced us with her presence once again. It has been about a week since we saw her last. She had a ball playing with Linsey and the boys and went to bible school with them. She is ready to sleep in her own bed she says, but I bet that by the weekend she is over to Grandma's because of the pool. Makes me wish I was 10 again if only for a little while.

We lost a calf the other day. Mom and Dad found it dead, and they figure that it was shot. Guess there has been alot of trouble makers nearby, the calf was too far gone to tell for sure what happened. On a brighter note though Heifer had a nice, big, gray baby boy. He is adorable. He is as big as 77's baby who is about 3 weeks old now. So cute, I love little babies.
Yesterday I went to BG with Will and had him drop me at the LSS and I spent the entire day there. I got one album done (no pics yet, and it was all sorted, just needed the glue) and a little book for Emily as well as 3 layouts. It feels good to get some work done. I haven't really gotten any random layouts done for a long time.
I thought once about going back to BG tomorrow and spending the day again, but since I have to go to Nashville on Friday I think I will just stay home and clean up the scraproom horror and try to plan some pages for the crop in July.
Oh, chatted with Beth my roomie for CKU tonight for awhile. She seems really nice, and we are getting together for dinner with our husbands in July. I am really looking forward to a nice dinner with adults.
