After about a month with no rain, warm temperatures, contant winds, the ground got some much needed moister here on the farm. It really wasn't much, but enough to help perk up the grass, flowers, and trees. I was so glad to see it fall, especially after watching the morning weather and seeing that the chance was only about 10% and not in our area. Guess someone decided that we were in need.
Dad is sick with pneumonia. At least I am sure it has come to that by this point. When he went to the Dr earlier in the week it was on the verge, and when he called back yesterday, they decided that he hadn't been on the antibiotics long enough to merit a chest xray, and to top it off he can't use the inhaler he was given very much because it messes with his diabetes. Well, mom ended up taking him to the ER this afternoon. I figure they will keep him, but don't know anything yet.
Been working on my week for Ali Edward's class in Nashville in August. Been taking pictures of everything much to the dismay of my family, and keeping all sorts of things to include. I had never really put that much thought into what I do everyday until I was made to really stop and see. It has been eye opening so far, and I am only on day 2.
With school out for the summer, I have been staying up later and not using an alarm. I really should stay in somewhat of a routine as the summers don't really last very long anymore, and I am getting old enough that any and all sleep I can get us necessary.
