Rainy Day Sunday

and I think I need to do some catching up! Won't be doing anything much outside other than feeding the babes, but inside I have plenty to do.

Yesterday was my honey's birthday. He is spending the weekend in BG babysitting that beloved cat Zip while everyone else is away travelling. I went over in the afternoon and we went to see a movie (Mall Cop) and have dinner (Red Lobster). That movie was hilarious! All 10 of us in the theatre were laughing our a** off! I definitely think that one will be hitting our own movie shelves when it comes out. All in all it was a good time. The girls were elsewhere so we were on our own.

On the crafting front I need to finish up a little bridal shower gift to take this afternoon. I made up a perpetual calendar that seems to be a big hit with everyone that has received one and just have to put it together. I also have plans to do 2 albums for upcoming June weddings. I made one for a wedding last year and the sister of the bride who is now the one getting married loved it and I thought I would do one for her and then my cousin in MN is getting married at the end of June and I think he and his future wife would like it too, so I just need to plan out the papers and get going.

I am swimming in cards around here! Ever since finding the 365 Cards blog I have been whipping out cards left and right. I think I may put together some sort of box to put them in and make several at a time and maybe give them away as a Christmas gift or something. Wouldn't getting a box full of all occasion, handmade cards be great? I think that some hard to get for people I know would enjoy them.

Plans for summer are starting to get made. Emily is planning on 2 different camps this summer and we are hoping that the timing is right for her to attend both. I am thinking that she may have to miss one because of the dates they are scheduled this year. I haven't checked that out yet. Tori's plans are not as concrete. With no job to go to at the moment I fear she will be a bit hard to contend with for 8 weeks. Hopefully she will either find a job or make some plans that involve some sort of activity!

I think I am on a lucky streak! Not only did I win the spot to Scrap Etc at the end of the month, but on another blog I recently found Amy did a review of the new Yanni Voices CD, and since I am a big fan of Yanni and have been for along time I put in my comment and what do ya know, I won a new cd! I would love to be heading to Nashville on Wednesday night to see his concert, but finding out so late makes it impossible. But at least I will have the CD sometime, and I can say I have seen him in concert before! Very nice music to relax to!

Well, I guess I should be getting dressed to do something. It is still raining and will be all day so there is no avoiding getting a little wet today. Frog Togs, here I come!
