My feet are tired

and my knees are hurting a bit, but we are home and relaxing today after enjoying a good trip to Danville, KY to visite Centre College for Junior Day. We got a nice visit with several of the admissions people, the President gave a wonderful speech, the tour of campus was great on the 70 degree day and we got lunch to boot. Several current students gave us a glimpse into their experiences at Centre and Tori is definitly thinking about it.

College is just around the corner for Tori and I guess that means a busy year for us. We happened to get a trip in to Transylvania last March. We really liked it although the area of town is a bit of a concern for me. We still have at least 2 more schools to got visit: Georgetown College north of Lexington, and Bellarmine University in Louisville. She is definitly looking in to going to a Liberal Arts college, and I personally like that they are so much smaller in student body and get the students so much more involved in their education than bigger schools have a chance to do.

I can really see Tori enjoying her self and really doing alot with her education at either of the schools we have visited so far. She is just that type of person and I know that she would really enjoy it. I also know that the chance to study abroad is a really big pull for her, but who can blame her. We have told her not to worry about the price tag of these schools. Somehow/someway we will make it work she just needs to stay focused and keep working hard in school now so that it really reads well later on.

Well, aside from relaxing I still have to take down, sort and do the laundry for the week. Sundays are my laundry day even though I have tried to do it some other time. With the machines downstairs I don't have a reason to visit the basement except to do the laundry and I am usually plenty busy the rest of the week. So I guess I had better get to it.
