Hello sunshine!

Can you believe that in 2 weeks we will all be sitting down with family and friends eating our little hearts out! Personally I cannot wait. I love Thanksgiving and all the lucious food! Yum to the turkey and stuffing and mashed taters and gravy and sweet tater casserole and warm rolls and pumpkin pie with LOTS of whipped topping. (Okay gotta stop, making my belly growl in hunger!)

So, I've been gearing up to do the Stories In Hand class over on JessicaSprague.com. I have my handy dandy little book all made and everything. I am really looking forward to seeing how to better tell my stories and how to draw out the memories that are hiding in my murky mind. I am thinking about making up some for both my mom and my mother-in-law as gifts. My mom used to write stories all the time but I don't think she has kept up with it in the past few years, and the "sparks" that we got may be just the ticket, and Carol knows just how important it is to leave behind memories for the future generations and I think she would enjoy it also.

Today we have some great temperatures and sunny weather after a bit of rain and what is promising to be a rather cold and possibly snowy weekend. I guess since it is the middle of November after all that it is to be expected.

Ali is doing a class on Big Picture that starts today and will be an instant download. I am counting down the minutes until it is up so that I can get it. The kit is ordered from Cocoa Daisy, and of course I choked a bit at the cost, but after adding up all the contents it was worth it to get it all at once. I got the November kit that Stacy Julian designed yesterday and can't wait to sit down with it and play. I think she was doing a class for it also and hopfully it will be posted today as well. Gotta love those creative ladies!

Well, Amber is on her way over and I feel the urge to play a little, so chow for now!
