‘What’s in your suitcase?’

That is the prompt for today. What do you find necessary to pack when you travel? I really want to know because I may be taking a trip to AZ in a few months and I have never been there. Here is the list of what I usually pack:

1- Clean sox, undies and bras
2- pj's
3- jeans, shorts, t's
4- sweater or sweatshirt
5- toothbrush, paste and face wash
6- deo and meds
7- extra book or mags

I am a light packer and a boring dresser. I hate to dress up and going out is so rare that I don't even own clothes for that anymore. Whenever we do go somewhere we always end up buying stuff there so you can't pack too heavy.

I just got invited to Creative Escape 08 by my good friend Veronica. She just found out she got a space in the lottery and can bring a friend. I am super stoked and just waiting for the hubby to get home so that I can ask him about going. $ is always an issue, but this is a one time trip for me. I usually only plan to go to events in Nashville because they are within driving distance. I really do not enjoy flying that much but would take an extra pill just for this trip.

Another trip I would like to make is to the Sweetwater House in Colorado to meet Rebecca Cooper and Beth Proudfoot. I loved Rebecca's book and have taken several classes from Beth through Big Picture. I know it would cost more to fly out there than for the weekend, and there was a problem with dates so they haven't been scheduled yet but I would love to go.

And last but not least I would sell my youngest to go to the Inspired Event with Donna Downey. I almost went last year but since I had already made plans for the Scrap Etc the next week I didn't but I heard such wonderful things about it that I am dying to go. This year is falls on Mother's Day weekend and I could drive out there (only about 10-12 hours). I plan to plead my case about that one too!
