So Far Today I...........

managed to drag my happy butt out of bed by 6:30. This is only because I had been up at 2am to let the d*mn cat out.

Then Emily and I tried something new for breakfast. Muffin Tops. They are small but good. I had picked up Blueberry and Choc Chip. Today we had the blueberry.

Mom rolled up at 6:45 since we were planning to work some of the cows and calves this morning. Where was she yesterday when Emily had spent the night Sunday and they all slept in til 7. Late for school is not good!

Emily woke up thrilled that she could see. We took her to the eye doctor yesterday after school for a checkup and she needed a new prescription. Tori finally out grew the every 6 months or so changes, so now I think it is Em's turn. Plus she has allergy problems with her eyes and has to have prescription drops twice a day. Yea!

CATS testing ends this week. Tori says today is the last day for the Sophomores. Not sure when Em gets done. All this means is that they have done nothing new in school for the past month or so. What a waste of time.

My lawn needs to be mowed yet again. Hopefully I will get it done sometime before the next rain hits this weekend.

May be headed to SD the end of June. An Amish couple is needing a ride and I think Will and I got volunteered.

Have a Wedding Shower to go to on the 12th and the wedding on the 17th. Our neighbor's daughter is getting married. She just passed her state RN boards last week. Jenn and Josh make a really cute couple.

Prom is Saturday. Tori has her hair appt at 11 that morning and then I guess we hang and take pics until it is time to head to the school. I love that Tori is so open sometimes. What others see as strange I see as very unique. Who else is going to wear these shoes to prom except Tori? No one else even owns a pair, yet. She loves being different where her clothes are concerned, and the shoes she has....Wow! She has more shoes than the local shoe store!

I still need to throw some laundry in, clean up from doing the chores this morning, vacuum up the 10,000+ flies that are dead on my floor. (Not sure about that I don't think I am exaggerating) and I am on kid duty today.
