It is raining, and has been for several days. Over about 4 inches so far. The temps have been nice though. Record highs according to Nashville news. Makes for cuddling up under a blanket and reading a good book even more appealing.
Got some new books recently. Finished the newest J.D. Robb book and also one called Imperfect Lives. It is a scrapbooking related read, and really hits home with the "scrap the good and the bad" I really liked it. Also got "Find your Groove", and the new Sketch book of Becky Higgins. Figure I may as well buy what I want for myself that way I get it right?
Need to go to BG to do some shopping, but figured I would wait until tomorrow since it is raining so hard today. Mom and Dad really hate to get out and shop, so I usually end up helping them out there.
Plan to finish up the clipboard calendars that I am making for Emily's teachers this week. She will be missing school next monday as she is getting her braces off. Way excited there! and tuesday is their last day of school this year.
This year. Wow, where did it go? I have to say I do not care to repeat this year, but if time could slow down a little I would be greatly appreciative.
Friday night Em had her archery practice. She scored 4 bullseyes. She was way beyond excited. Dancing around and showing off. Glad she is really enjoying it and learning something. After this week's practice there won't be any until after the holidays, but by then she will be able to use her own bow to practice with. That will be really great.
