Today is Sunday, football day, lazy day (if I had gotten all my chores done), take a nap day (except I do that most any day), enjoy the day day. I have a list a mile long of things that need to get done around here (guess I should really start writing that list) that can be broken down to today, before Thanksgiving, before Christmas, before sometime. I never seem to get as much done as I would like to because I have a really bad habit of talking myself out of doing things.
Been reading a really good book: Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert. I had seen part of her interview on Oprah, and have seen many good reviews and thought what the heck I would be willing to try it. I have been trying to read things that will open my mind and heart to new things anyway, and I have to say that so far I have only gotten through Italy, but I am really loving this book. I can feel for this woman as I have also been through divorce and depression.
This morning Will and I saw 6 young deer playing in the field while we were out checking on the cows. It was so fun the watch them play and not seem to mind us watching or to be worried about anything going on around them. It is hunting season, but I guess they really are safe this year for they are really just adolescents. Still fun to watch.
