Happy Thanksgiving

to all. This year I am so thankful for so much. The biggest I think is the fact that my Dad is still with us despite a rather trying time in July. He is improving daily and I am so happy for that. I am so thankful for the girls and all of their accomplishments this year and for them being who and what they are. They are really wonderful human beings and I am finally seeing them for that and can only hope that the future is as bright as their biggest hopes and dreams.

Today Will, Emily and I worked on getting the house cleaned up and preparations on dinner for tomorrow. I cleaned the carpet on the porch and Em and Will started the makings for the stuffing. Amber came and picked up the girls and they headed over the Grandma's house to make pies. They all love to bake and this is a good chance for them to spend some quality time with Amber while she is home.

I have been making up lists (more in my head than on paper) of all the good gifting ideas I have found lately. I picked up the few things I needed for some 0f them yesterday when I went to BG and really can't wait to sit down and get started on all those ideas. So many of them will make great teachers gifts as well as for anyone.

It has rained most of the day, and it is supposed to be awfully cold tomorrow. Figures, was hoping for nice weather so that we could go outside if we needed to. Oh well, I think that all will be good tomorrow. I have calmed down about it (I tend to freak out a little about everything when there is the prospect of impending company) and I just can't wait to sit down and eat all the good food.
