Playing Catchup

again! Seems like I regularly get behind and have to play catchup. Oh well, that is my life!

Yesterday was Emily's Parent/Teacher Conferences. I always go to these because I know that the teachers appreciate parents that "care" what their children are doing in school. Not only did we get the report card (All A's and "Bear of the Month for September"), but the scores from the CATS testing they did last year were in. Em's were wonderful. She scored "Distinguished" in all 4 categories. So proud.

Tori takes her ACT next Saturday. I am so nervous for her but she seems to have no worries about anything but Chemistry questions since she hasn't had that class yet. Me, I made her fill out online to take it again in December just in case.

Will is working alot of hours at his catering job. He really likes it though, it is what he went to school for and what he wants to do as a career. One of these days he will own his own restuarant. He is that committed to the project.

The pics from our trip came in the mail yesterday. It was exciting to sit down to 500+ pics and have the memories flash. Fun ideas to scrap too!

Oh ya, before I forget. Dad is home and doing great. He got to come home Monday after they finally got his rythmn shocked back to normal. He is on several more meds and has to have blood work done every other day, but he is back doing rehab and is feeling somewhat better. Will just have to wait and see if he stays healthy. I hope so!
