My girl is homesick

I believe that Tori is homesick. I figured that she would maybe call a couple times a week and fill us in on things, but I didn't count on her calling twice in one day. At .99 a minute our phone bill is going to be a little steep. Don't get me wrong, I love talking to her and hearing about all the places that she has been and the things that she has seen on this wonderful adventure, but I also think that she would be better off not being able to call. At least not as often.

Regardless, she is having fun. Saw the Tower of London today and the Crown Jewels. She said that they were so beautiful that it was unfair that only one family should be able to wear them. At least they are on display for all to see. The queen was at Buckingham Palace also. The flag was up. They rode the Tube, a ferry and walked forever she said. They are staying in Greenwich, and tomorrow they will ride in either a Taxi or on a double-decker, she wasn't sure.

On the home front. Emily finished her class today and had a good time. She made some cute things and learned a bunch of new techniques. She is itching to go to one of their Friday night crops, but I think I can get her to just let me take her during the day. We will load up and go one day when Will has to go to BG to work on the apartments.

Norman D. has had surgery, they aren't sure he will regain full function of his arm because they couldn't put pins in due to his age, and he gets his stitches out of his nose tomorrow and will be able to come home. He is so lucky not to have broken his neck or worse. A broken elbow and nose is nothing that he can not overcome with time and physical therapy. Being that he is Amish and comes from a very dedicated and hardworking family, I don't think he will have any trouble regaining full function of his arm.

I finished the homework for the class that I will be taking with Ali in August. I plan to finish taking some pics this evening, then I just have to upload and get them printed. Luckily since I didn't get as many taken today as I have other days, I will have some time to take more if I need too.

Will and I are fending for ourselves again tonight. Emily deserted us to go over to Sud and Tracey's house for the night, or probably the next week or so. While they have the kids anyway.

I need to use this time to get major things accomplished around here. I started two more BPS classes today, I have Amber's graduation album to finish, and she graduated two weeks ago. My bedroom is still waiting for paint, Father's Day is fast approaching and I have to get some cards made, the basement is a disaster area of the mostest degree. I need a few days to really muck out all the stuff that can go somewhere else. The list goes on and on, and I may get some done I may not, right now I want to finish my sandwich that my loving husband made for me, take a Tylenol PM and crash for the night.

Sounds good to me!
