The countdown has begun

Tori will be home Sunday!!!!! Her plane should arrive in Nashville about 6pm. She sounds so tired and ready to be home, but at the same time she is still having fun.

She called this morning to say that she did repel down the castle wall in Wales. She did not enjoy it and will not do it again she says, but at least she did do it.

I am proud of her for at least doing it. I figured that where she is so afraid of heights that she would not do it once she got to that point.

Yesterday, Will, Emily and I went to Horse Cave to see Grannie. She showed us her pictures from her Alaskan cruise and took us to lunch. It was a fun afternoon, and something that we don't do often enough.

Rain is something that is still desperatly needed. The lawn is so dry, and I have been trying to keep the flowers, shrubs and trees watered without using a ton of water. Tori offered to bottle up a rain cloud from Wales and bring it home because it had done nothing but rain there. I thought it was sweet of her to offer, too bad it isn't possible.

One of the butterfly bushes is finally blooming, so far it only has two on it, but it shouldn't be long before it goes wild with them. I could have a few more of them as fast as they grow and as big as they get. They cover alot of ground.

This strange little lizard was hanging on the screen outside mom's house the other day when we were there. I have never seen one quite that color before. He stayed there until he decided he had had enough of his picture being taken and then he tried jumping on Will and then scurried off across the lawn and under the house.

Emily is off playing the little fish again today. She has had so much fun in the pool, and is sooooo dark. She has such pretty skin anyway, and the tan just makes her more beautiful.
